Wenceslao Piedra Cascón

Wenceslao has a degree in Dentistry and two master’s degrees: Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation and Periodontics and Implantology. He has his own dental clinic, where he has been practicing for 7 years. Researcher in 3D technologies applied to dentistry, having co-authored 25 articles in international journals.
Among other achievements, he has developed specific 3D printing protocols for the dental sector, where he has extensive experience in the design and manufacturing phases (CAD/CAM). His knowledge and work are the basis of the protocols developed by MovumTech. Wenceslao won the award for the best clinical poster presentation at the EAO (European Association of Osseointegration) International Congress.
He is also an invited reviewer for leading scientific journals in the field. In 2021 he received the SEPES GASCÓN prize, awarded to the first author of the best scientific article published in a journal of international impact and granted by the Spanish Society of Stomatological and Aesthetic Prosthetics. In 2022, SEPES awarded him the Research Grant, to fund his research in 3D Printing technology.
Wenceslao has more than 3,500 followers on his YouTube and Instagram accounts. His knowledge has led him to develop his own courses for dentists and laboratory technicians, which are in great demand in Spain and which have helped us to finance MovumTech to date.
Xavier Paolo Burgos-Artizzu

Xavier is a Computer Science Engineer and PhD in Artificial Intelligence (extraordinary PhD award, Complutense University, 2010). He has more than 16 years of experience as a researcher, having worked in both companies and universities/technology centers in several countries (USA, Australia, France, Spain).
He has worked on a variety of AI applications such as medicine, biology, agriculture, and cinematography. He has co-authored more than 50 high-impact scientific publications, and his work has been cited more than 4,300 times. In addition, due to his pragmatic approach and his efforts for real technology transfer, he is co-author of 13 registered industrial patents, has participated in the commercialization of 5 medical devices, and has worked on several open-source software projects, used from 112 different countries.
Xavier, is currently also a collaborating Professor in the Master in Data Science for the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and works part-time as a consultant for third parties to help finance Movumtech.
